Fairly clean hotel in a really nice building near to the town centre and the sea front and bars. Good service and recently refurbished rooms with an extra bed. Attentive staff with great local knowledge.

The hotel is exceptional, exceptionally clean, with an excellent location in the pub downstairs - make sure to book the king room with a view for a great stay experience.

The guest room I stayed in was recently renovated and spacious, and the service here is outstanding; also, the location is convenient, close to a nearby pub called the Hop and Grape and within easy reach of Saltburn and Whitby, as well as various bars and restaurants.
